Mary L. Farrington's Obituary
Mary L. Farrington, 87 of Tacoma went with the Angels to be with her husband Woodrow, her daughter Janet and her parents Earl and Janet Alexander on November 14, 2014. She was born in Mason City, Iowa on January 5, 1927, Mary Louise raised 4 daughters. Before her marriage she was a weather operator, phone operator and sent Morse code in Alaska. She loved music, singing and having jam sessions with her family. She is a member of Puyallup United Methodist Church. She was a member of Tops, Garden Club, Grange and Eastern Star. In current years she enjoyed going to the Lighthouse Senior Center where she had lots of friends. She loved to dance, play cards and enjoyed the company of her friends. She is survived by her daughters Mary Lynn Oudean, Rosalyn Hartman, and Cynthia Eads, Grandchildren Robert, Anthony, Jonathan, Catholine, Christopher, and Angela. Great Grandchildren Donovan, Lucas, Isabella, William, Kylie, Norah, and Julianna. A celebration of Life service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home in the Aspen Chapel November 21, 2014 at 10 am.
