Marvin Bradford Burnett's Obituary
Marvin Bradford Burnett, 74 of Puyallup, Washington passed away on November 25, 2021. He was born April 19, 1947 in Tacoma to Esther L. (Rang) and Marion Burnett, the 2nd of 6 children. Through his education, he attended Roger's Grade School, Stewart Junior High, and Madison High, graduating in 1965. After graduation, he began his military career, and worked in aerospace engineering. He retired in 2011 after 35 years of dedicated service. After his retirement, he was involved in Disabled American Veterans and American Legions. He married Nhung Tu in March of 2020 in Las Vegas Nevada.
During Marvin's military career, he earned the titles of Commander DAV from 2011-2018 and was in Post 67 from 2018-2019. He served in active was during Vietnam, and attained the rank of E4 and received the MDSM/USM-Vietnam Service, VCM-Vietnam Campaign and MKM M14 medals.
Marvin will be remembered as caring, loving, loyal, outgoing, and ornery. Marvin enjoyed a wide variety of country music, stock car racing, fishing, and family gatherings.
He is survived by his wife, Nhung Tu; son, Brad Burnett and fiancé Mandra Chamberlain; 3 sisters, Naurine and husband Bob Underwood, Esther Rang, and Linda and husband Ron Low; two brothers, John and wife Joanie Burnett, and Milt Foster.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
