Martha Vavrek's Obituary
Martha Vavrek, born Feb. 2, 1914 in Beulah, ND, passed away Aug. 24, 2003 in Tacoma, WA. Preceded in death by her husband, Peter Vavrek. Survived by daughter, Sharon (Larry) Hecker; grandson, Tim (Theresa) Hecker; granddaughter, Tammy (Matt) Green; great-grandchildren, Ryan, T.J., Thomas, Taryn, Dakota, Kara; and brother, Reuben Schlaffman. Martha was a long-time-member of the Flying Fingers Club for the deaf and attended local deaf church services. Funeral services to be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 30, 2003, at the Mt. View Garden Chapel.
