Marrianna B. Wearn's Obituary
On Christmas Eve, 2025, Marrianna Wearn quietly passed away. She lived a long life, filled with much joy. Born in Trenton New Jersey in 1938, she attended her beloved University of San Francisco, and she later graduated first in her class in nursing school. She spent the last 25 years of her professional life as an RN at Western State Hospital, where she was a treasured coworker.
She opened her heart and her home to so many. She was a Boy Scouts Den Mother, President of the PTA, and the classroom mom that would bring the best cupcakes. She was funny and silly and ridiculously smart. The wonderful memories are countless and would not fit into even a multi-volume obituary. But her life, like all lives, was not without sadness, with the loss of two of her sons, Robert and Michael Wearn, too soon. Nonetheless, she carried on with enjoying her favorite things, including watching her Golden State Warriors and doing a little light shopping on QVC. She also found great solace in watching weekly Catholic mass.
She is survived by her children David Wearn, Lisa Wearn, and Laura Morse, and grandchildren Justin Wearn, Alex Wearn, Katerina Wearn, Brandon Wearn, and Colin Wearn.
She was loved and she will be missed.
