Marliss Dianne Freedland's Obituary
Marliss Dianne Freedland, 73, died March 18th, 2016 surrounded by family and after a seven-year battle with cancer. She was born in Grafton, ND to Gotfred and Ida Thompson on February 9th, 1943. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald M. Freedland, her sister Carolle and brother Duwayne. Marliss had been employed as a hairdresser for more than 40 years with her best friend Ardis, where she made numerous friends. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Lakewood, WA.
She is survived by her son Michael and daughter Michelle (Mike), her beloved cousin Beverly, nieces Carlene and Denise (Travis), nephew Anthony, grandsons Matthew and Nathan and grand-nephews Bailey, Andrew and Erik.
In lieu of flowers Marliss preferred donations made in her honor to either Christ Lutheran Church or the National Down Syndrome Society Research Innovation and Discovery Fund (www.ndss.org).
