Marlene was a treasured student in the Friday morning clothing construction class in the Home and Family Life Department at Bates Techinical College for many years. Her wit along with her quilting expertise were wonderful for us all. Her generous heart was evident in the special quilts she made for others experiencing life challenges. She touched many lives with her unique spirit!
I met Marlene in 1979 and our friendship has always been connected, even though I moved to Arizona 4 years ago.. You were always there for me and to hear your voice when you called was a pleasure. Our memories together
are huge and Harbor Lights has to be a good one! Sleep well, Dear Friend.
