Marlene R. O'Neal's Obituary
Marlene R. O’Neal, born April 12, 1954, in Puyallup, Washington, to Leo and Ruby Anderson, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, in Puyallup. She was surrounded by her loved ones.
Marlene was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her daughter Lisa of Tacoma; her sister Margie Miller of Tacoma; her grandchildren Bryce McFarland Jr. of Tacoma and Skylar O’Neal of Ocean Shores; and her best friend Jerry Labossiere of Ocean Shores. Each held a treasured place in her life.
Marlene retired as a supervisor for a sheet metal company, where she was known for her dedication, reliability, and strong leadership. Her greatest joy, however, came from being a grandmother. She loved doing creative and artistic projects with her grandchildren and treasured every moment she spent with them. Marlene had a generous heart and cared deeply for the people in her life—always ready to lend support, offer kindness, and take care of those around her.
Marlene will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her warmth, creativity, and love for her family will remain forever in the hearts of those she touched.
A service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Valley Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home, followed by a reception celebrating Marlene's life at Mountain View's Celebration of Life Center.
