Marlene was my oldest sister and like a second mother. I always felt that I could share the most intimate details of my life with her. I am missing her so much. She was compassionate and caring and always there to give me advice and support, I called her everyday, sometimes three or four times each day, It is so hard to believe that she is no longer here. We grew up in a small town--Washington, Pa, We did not have many activities but Marlene loved to skate, shop and do hair. As a teen she worked at a clothing store named Betty Gays and she really enjoyed that job because she could buy pretty clothes. She always worked. I also remember her working at Wards Electric Company on Walnut Street in Washington, Pa. and Carl's Dairy Bar.
My son Brent and I love her so much and we will never forget her beautiful smile, Rest in peace Marlene. You are gone from this earth but we will never forget you.
