Marlene B. Davis' Obituary
Marlene B. Davis of Dupont, WA passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on June 3, 2025, in her home surrounded by her family.
Born September 5, 1931, in Johnstown, PA, Marlene was the youngest of 13 children to John and Iva Erwin and was a member of United Brethren Church of Conemaugh, PA.
Married on July 20, 1951, she was a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, George W. Davis, Sr. and her son, George W. Davis, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Koth (Keith) and Donna Adams (Daryl). She was blessed to have six grandchildren (Sean, Heather, Chaela. Corrina, Melissa, and Rebecca); 19 great-grandchildren (Sierra, Manny, Juanito, Alexis, Ryder, King, Celine, Hailie, Noah, Kaylee, Brielle, Mia, Conor, Dean, Ivy, Tyler, Jamie, Fionn and Corbin), and two great-great grandchildren (Lias and Mateo).
Marlene retired from Wells Fargo Bank after 25 ½ years as an Operations Officer. In her spare time, she loved volunteering in the Steilacoom School District, reading, doing puzzles, and traveling.
Donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Diabetes Association.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 2pm at Mt View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Tacoma, WA, with reception following.
A private family service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery where she will be interned alongside her husband.
