Mark Thomas Bostwick
Mark Thomas Bostwick was born May 14, 1956 and passed away May 15, 2012 after a brief battle with cancer. Mark was born in Englewood, CA and moved to Tacoma, WA as an infant. He grew up in Tacoma and attended Sacred Heart Catholic School, Bellarmine and Lincoln High. Mark joined the Plumbers and Pipefitters and was a 35-year member of Local 82/26. In 1979 he married Lisa Frattinger and they had 3 beautiful children. Mark was very devoted to his family, and enjoyed camping, BBQs, and yearly trips to Long Beach, WA. He was an avid mountain bike rider and just loved being outdoors. He also enjoyed playing Texas Hold-Ëœem with friends.
Mark is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lisa; daughters Kelli (Sean) Barrett and Katie (Travess) Erker; son Kevin; mother Ramona Bostwick; two brothers, Dana (Naomi) and John Bostwick; two sisters, Sara (Steve) Puryear and Rena Bostwick (Rick); six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John T. Bostwick. The family wishes to thank the 6th floor oncology unit at Tacoma General Hospital for their loving care. Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
