Marjorie L. Strother's Obituary
October 4, 1930, Warren and Verna Taylor welcomed their long awaited baby girl, Marjorie Laurene. She was born in the Taylor's home in North Tacoma, while her older brother, Clayton, played on the front gate.
Marjorie grew up in the shadow of the Tacoma Smelter, where her father had worked. She attended Pt. Defiance Elementary, Mason Jr. High, and Stadium High School; graduating in 1948.
In early 1949, she met the love of her life; a soldier name Charles Strother. They were married on July 23, 1949. Together they raised 3 children.
Marjorie enjoyed singing, music, baseball, and football - GO HAWKS!, camping, playing cards, square dancing, sewing, and embroidery. She LOVED 4 legged creatures, especially horses, dogs, and cats.Mostly she loved her family and Savior Jesus.
