Marjorie Shuster's Obituary
Marjorie Florence (Grenfell) Shuster Daughter of William Richard Grenfell and Elizabeth Henrietta (Sandkoetter) Grenfell, born February 12, 1924 in Portland, Oregon, went to join the Lord on February 2, 2012. Preceded in death by husband Jack Edward Shuster and sons Steven Allen and David Owen. Survived by daughter Linda Elizabeth Terrill, son Duane Thomas (Lisa); grandchildren Britton Ruby (Crissy), Nathan Shuster, Adrienne Cordes (Karl), Grant Ruby, Matthew Terrill, Timothy, Jakob, and Mikayla Shuster; great-grandchildren Taden Jack Ruby, Elizabeth Cordes, Laari Ruby, Cassandra Cordes, Mercedes and Alexis Irby; and special family friends John Terrill and Anita Zetterstrom. Marjorie was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, making many special gifts for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marjorie sang in church choir at Bethany United Methodist Church; she volunteered as Girl Scout leader, Boy Scout leader, and held local and district-wide offices in UMWomen; she also served as president of Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Six-Plex Association. Marjorie loved people and talked with anyone, any time, anywhere, making all feel special. All who knew her will miss her sweetness and smile. Memorial Service will be held Monday February 6 at 2 p.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church, 57th & Park Avenue, Tacoma, WA.
