Marjorie Pearl Johnson's Obituary
Marjorie Pearl Johnson was born in Boise, Idaho on August 3, 1923 and passed away peacefully on July 11, 2018, at the age of 94. Marjorie spent most of her life in Tacoma and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1941. She retired from the Port of Tacoma and remained active in the community with her involvement in the Agate Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Red Hats’ Society. She also volunteered at the VA Hospital American Lake and the Discovery Shop.
Marjorie was proceeded in death by her husband John Johnson and her son John Johnson Jr. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Devlin and her son-in-law Joseph Devlin. Marjorie also leaves behind her three grandsons: Joseph (Shelley), Sean, and James (Erin). She will also be missed by her three great-grandchildren: Joseph, Owen, and Evelyn.
Celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in The Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American SIDS Institute and the American Diabetes Association.
