Marjorie Helena Lenz's Obituary
Marjorie (Moeller) Lenz was born April 18, 1920 in Tacoma, WA and passed away January 31, 2011. Marge grew up in Tacoma and graduated from Lincoln High School. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Robert Lenz. They settled in Lakewood, WA in 1958 where Marge was a realtor and brokered her own real estate office for several years. She was charter president of the then newly organized Tacoma Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors. Marge enjoyed sports and music, and spent many hours playing bridge with friends in the Lakewood and Steilacoom area. She was a long time member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lakewood. Her kindness and selfless caring and giving made her special to everyone who met her. Marge was a loving and devoted mother to her daughters, Dorothy Prescott and Kathryn Lewis.
She is survived by her daughters, grandson Michael Lewis, great-granddaughter Jada Lewis, son-in-law Hal Prescott, two nephews and their families.
Remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice. There will be a graveside service February 9 at 2:00 pm at the Tacoma Cemetery, 4801 South Tacoma Way, 253-472-3369.
