Marjorie A Hamilton's Obituary
Marjorie A. Hamilton 93, passed away September 11, 2013. Marjorie was born on October 4, 1919 in Abbey village of Saskatchewan, Canada to parents Harry and Arice Leng, she was the second of three children. She lived in Canada until the age of four, and attended school in Brodhead WI. She earned her Nursing Degree in Madison, WI where she met her husband Ray Hamilton, they married January 24, 1942. She retired in 1979 after serving 22 years as a NICU nurse at Madigan. She felt the most important events were the birth of her children, grand-children, and great grand-children. Marjorie participated in the Emerald Club in Lakewood, and enjoyed gardening, while listening to “ Yellow Rose of Texas.”
Marjorie is survived and missed by her son John of Mexico, daughter Judi of Tacoma, granddaughter Patricia Schwab (Joe) of Tacoma, grandson Tyler Hamilton(Emily) of Texas, granddaughter Brandy Lehman (Rob) of Idaho, granddaughter Terra Machande (Dan) of Florida, grandson Tim Hamilton and girlfriend Sarah of Seattle, granddaughter Jessica Hamilton of Tacoma. Great-grand children Kyle, Kody, Edmund, Elliot, Reeves Annie, Raegan, David, Cannon, Alissa, Erica, Nicole, Madison and numerous other relatives, with a great-great grandchild expected May of 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Arice Leng, brother Philip, husband Ray, sons Alan and Gary, sister Lois Swinson and her husband Raymond.
