Marjorie (Hall) Mumphord
Marjorie Hall was born in Victoria Texas, February 24, 1919. She was the younger of two children born to Rosa Lee and Monroe Hall. Passed from our midst on Thursday December 11th, 2008
Marjorie received Christ at an early age. She sang in the senior choir as one of the first sopranos' and loved to share her beautiful voice-¦and enjoyed solos.
Marjorie married Clarence A. Mumphord, on December 28th 1940. To this union they had a son Edgar Earl. Both preceded her in death.
She loved to cook and had many special customers for her cakes and smoked turkeys.
She leaves a devoted sister Rosa Stoney, a niece Brenda Moore (Sherman) of Detroit Michigan, two Great nieces, Janae and Shaila. Two special cousins Ethel Lee of Corpus Christi, Massie Wilson of San Antonio Texas and her Aunt Matilda also of San Antonio Texas.
In addition Marjorie's passing is grieved by her lifetime friends and adopted family the Nottages, Lydia and Mary of Tacoma, WA. Jerome and Dar of Puyallup, WA. and Keith of Portland Ore.
Marjorie was a life long member of the McKinley Hill Friends Church and Elks lodge -Å"Lily of the West- 180 and will be sorely missed by her many friends
