Marjorie A. Bachmeier's Obituary
Marjorie "Margie" Ailene Bachmeier
(August 17, 1926 - July 10, 2016)
Margie was born in Geneva, New York to Julia Oressa and Clement C. Arnold. She had ten brothers and two sisters.
She married Richard Bachmeier (USAF Retired) on January 7, 1952, in Hayward, California.
They lived in their home in Puyallup, WA, where she enjoyed her pet ducks and cat, Tinker, hunting with Dick, cooking, and collecting carnival glassware. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bachmeier and daughter, Margie Lee Caldwell.
She moved to Lincoln, Nebraska to be with her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and David Thomas. She attended church, making many friends with her outgoing ways. To keep busy, Margie raised finches, and watched the antics of her neighborhood squirrels. She moved to Olympia in 2013 to Boardwalk Apartments where she once again made many friends by saying "hi, I'm Margie!" She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, collecting jewelry, going to the casino, and spending time with her family.
Margie is survived by her daughter, Debbie Thomas and son-in-law, David Thomas; stepson, Rick Bachmeier and his wife, Verda; nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and four siblings.
Margie will be laid to rest at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, Washington with her late husband, Richard Bachmeier. We know she is happy to be back hunting with Dick.
