Marjorie B. Wilson's Obituary
Marjorie B. Wilson passed away on January 13, 2004. She was born in Anaconda, MT, on June 20, 1923 and raised in Garnet, MT, a mining town in the Rocky Mountains, by her parents Ole and Marian Dahl. She and her brother Ray grew up in the Great Depression but that fact never seemed to overshadow her generosity and positive outlook. When she was nineteen, she traveled with friends to San Francisco where she found work during the war effort. There she met the love of her life, a photographer named Ralph Wilson, and they married in 1946. They eventually had two children, Mary Ann and Tom, and moved with their family to the northwest in 1956. Marjorie worked for several restaurants during her career as a waitress, most notably JohnnyÂ's On the Mall for seventeen years. Her husband, Ralph, predeceased her in 1982 and she spent the rest of her life devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Wonderly (Bob Herschberger), son Thomas Wilson (Dianne), grandchildren: Jennifer Bisson (Jonny), Lindsay Wonderly, Parker Wilson, great grandson Nicholas Bisson, special family friend Sue Berge, and pets Holly, Raif, and Putt who will all miss her very much.Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on Friday, January 16, 2004 at 2:00pm in the Garden Chapel.
