Marjorie Annette Bellamy's Obituary
Heaven became a better place on April 24, 2003 with the arrival of Marjorie Annette "Duchess" Bellamy. Born in Seattle on November 2, 1918. Marge celebrated 40 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Jim, on this past March 1st . Not only a treasured wife, Marge was a loving mother and best friend to her two daughters, Jackie Chesley (Ron) and Vicki Bello (Al). As the touchstone of her beloved family, Marge was a favorite of her grandchildren, Rhonda Chesley, Jim Finn (Jody) and Renae Bigelow (Jim), and will be sorely missed by her great-granddaughter Samantha, as well as many nieces and nephews on the East Coast. Always giving of herself, Marge was a long time member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Tacoma and the Mary Bridge Children's Hospital Auxiliary. The entire family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hospice and Pastor Gerken for making Marge's final days as comfortable as possible. We are also grateful for daughter Vicki and granddaughter Renae for all their loving efforts this past month. Our family has been blessed by the love of a woman who gave of herself unconditionally and loved with all her heart. We could all do well to live by her example.Services will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 416 S. 56th Street at 1:00pm Monday April 28.
