Marion Grace Kittinger
Marion was born February 8, 1927 in Aberdeen, WA and peacefully passed away on September 2, 2009 at the age of 82. She was a longtime resident of Tacoma. Marion grew up in Aberdeen, graduated with honors from Weatherwax High School and worked as a nursing assistant at St. Joseph's Hospital in Aberdeen. She enjoyed music, was a lifelong Mariner fan, and loved her two Cairn Terriers, Mac and Perkins. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, William Kittinger and her sister DeEtte Eaton. She is survived by her three children, Joel Kittinger, Elaine (Dan) Besett, and Paul Kittinger and two grandchildren, Kelly Hardwick and Shanley Besett. A memorial service to honor Marion will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood on Thursday, September 10th at 12:30 PM.
