Marion Harris' Obituary
Marion R. (Dick) Harris, born April 14, 1923 to Willard and Wyona Harris, went home to the Lord on Aug. 4, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Hazel V. Harris; his sister, Arlene Constanti; six children, Daniel Harris, David Harris, Linda Coate, Ted Harris, Kathleen Howell and Thomas Welch; 16 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, brother and two granddaughters. He served in World War II in the 351st Infantry Regiment, 88th Division. He retired in 1985 from Tam Engineering after 29 years. He was active in the community and an avid gardener. He was devoted to his family and his walk with Jesus Christ was evident in his daily life. Visitation will be held on Friday August 8th from 1 to 9pm at Mountain View Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday August 9, 2003 at 11am in the Mt. View Valley Chapel. Reception with family will be held after the service.
