Marion Louise Ghee (Hall), born on July 12, 1931, in Newport News, VIrginia, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, warmth, and unwavering love that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Marion is survived by her sister Nancy King (Wallace King), her loving children: Sharon Ghee, Sharilyn Robinson, Timothy Ghee, And Lyle Ghee. She was a devoted and proud grandmother to Hayes Robinson, Murray Mustin, Ravae Smith, Melia Griffin, Amber Nelson, Chervonne Ghee, Sierra Ghee, Allieha Williams, And Therssa Warren. She was deeply Cherished by her many great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Hall, her beloved husband, Robert Ghee Sr.; her children Robert Ghee Jr, Kennis Ghee, Christie Ghee, and Darryl Ghee; her granddaughter Lamaria Baines Ghee and great grandson Amari Stone. Though they left this world before her, they remained forever held in her heart.
Marion’s life was marked by resilience, deep faith, and a quiet inner strength. She was known for her kindness, her wisdom, and the steady comfort she gave to family and friends. Her home was a place of welcome, love, and good food. A gathering place where memories were created, and laughter was shared.
Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her spirit continues to live on in the family she nurtured, the lessons she passed down, and the love she gave so generously
