Too often when we read someone's obituary we learn something about a person we have known for some time; thank you for sharing this summarizing reflection of Marion's life.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Marion since the fall of 1974, when I began my teaching career at Thompson Elementary. As some family members know, a number of the Thompson staff from "those days" have kept in touch over the years, and we have missed Marion's presence. We all hold memories of this bright lady. For me it will be her guidance to a young teacher and recalling the times that she spent at school accompanied by her faithful sheltie. I know that she is now enjoying many reunions on those streets of gold!!
