Marina Darnell Marina Darnell was born July 9, 1927 in San Salvador, El Salvador and passed away with her family at her side due to complications from a heart attack on November 30, 2004, at Madigan Army Medical Center, Lakewood, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Darnell, D.V.M. Survivors include her son Â- Steve Nugent, her daughter, Sharon Nugent Wallace, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Marina was a warm, vibrant woman, loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Viewing will be today, Friday, December 3, from 9:00 A. M. to 2:30 P. M. at Mountain View Funeral Home, followed by graveside services at 2:30 P. M .
