Marilyn Selma Hofferber's Obituary
Marilyn Hofferber passed away in Tacoma on June 20, 2010. She was 77. Marilyn is survived by her sons Robert and Patrick Eakes, seven grandchildren, Shea and Murphy Eakes, Callista, Christiana, Felicienne, Angelica and Justin Griffin, one great-grandson, Devon, brother Bill Fitzpatrick, and sister Gail Allison. Marilyn was born February 1st, 1933 in Detroit Michigan, daughter of Ross and Mae Belle Fitzpatrick, graduated high school in 1950 from Stephenson High, and graduated from nursing school in 1953 (an accomplishment she was very proud of). Marilyn moved to Washington in 1953, met and married Robert Eakes, and had two sons, Patrick and Timothy. She was widowed in 1975. She met and married Richard Hofferber in 1997, and was widowed again in 2008. Marilyn will be missed very much. Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service held at Mt. Tahoma Baptist Church, 5220 74th St. W., Tacoma, Tuesday July 6th, 2010 at 6:00 PM. Fellowship and meal will follow.
