Hi, just want to send you my condolences on your mother, I was her houskeeper in the late 1970's and early 1980's. She was a wonderful person and had a heart of gold. Marilyn was my mentor as a GS-05 at Fort Lewis. A wonderful charming lady and with her advice and guidance I achieved my goals. She gave me my first Federal Award which motivated me. What a girl She was! An astounding capable person who overcame difficulties in her early life. What a memory she had and wonderful organization skills. I doubt Fort Lewis ever found another like her.

Marilyn and I worked at Fort Lewis in the late '70s, and then found out that Wally and my dad (Carl Washburn) worked together at Ernest. My mom, Ella Washburn, and I sent our sympathy to the family.##imported-begin##Sue Scott##imported-end##
