Something seems so terrilbiy wrong, its been 11 days since I have talked to Marilyn. I would bet this is the longest I have gone without talking to her in the 30 yrs we knew one another, except when one of us was on vacation!!!
She had a wonderful send off, I am sure she is so proud of the way it all went!! She loved you all so much,even though you all drove her nuts sometime, but that is what families do,right? We must stay in touch.

More than anything I wanted to be there with you to honor Marilyn. I love her very much. I have been given a very special gift from her and all of you. This gift I treasure is the wonderful memories of camping, 4th of July parties, Rods resort, trips to Packwood and just sitting in the kitchen talking about the day. I will miss our Christmas letters to one another, and I will always cherish this special gift I've been given. To all of the family, I would like to say...
