My name is Mitch Geer and I dated Marilyn in the 1980’s for for 6 and a half years while we both worked at Boeing together. I am So Sad to see that she passed away from cancer. I got to know her and Shannon her daughter for years during the 80’s and they both stayed at my house a number of times with me and my daughter. Shannon even painted my backyard fence one summer. 😊
My thoughts are with you since I cant be at the funeral today. I really enjoyed your mom and admired her "take charge of the situation" attitude. She was an inspiration. I will miss her.

Marilyn was one of the sweetest lady I've ever met. She was the official first mentor of new dragon boat paddlers. She was very patient and confident in that task.
