Marietta Hembry's Obituary
Marietta passed away suddenly April 18, 2003 in Tacoma, WA of natural causes. She was born September 15, 1937 in Waverly, Virginia to Andrew (ret. U.S. Army) and Elizabeth Bracey. Mr. Bracey retired at Ft. Lewis and Marietta graduated Stadium High School, class of 1957. She married U.S. Army serviceman C. Leon Hembry in 1961. They settled in Tacoma and had six children: Freddy, Karl, Karen, Linda, Carolyn, and LeonShe was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Elizabeth Bracey; and son, KarlMarietta is survived by sons, Freddy and Leon; daughters, Karen, Linda, and Carolyn; and nine grandchildren.Visitation will be April 24th from 1pm to 9pm at Mt. View Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be 11am, Friday April 25th at Mt. Tahoma Seventh Day Adventist Church, 615 N. Sprague Avenue. She is loved by many, and will be missed by all who knew her well.
