Marie Williams I will remember your bright kind smile, gentle voice and hugs. A lifetime member of our church Shiloh, you served well Deaconess, rest in heaven on high.
Marie was one of the nicest persons my late husband and I have known. She always had a smile and made you feel so welcome. I am thankful she had been a part of our lives. My condolences to her sons and other family members. This world was a better place with her in it.
Marie Williams was an outstanding employee in the Human Resources of Tacoma School District Number 10.
She had the responsibility of assigning staff to fill vacancies when a teacher was absent from performing duties.
This was a challenging tasks during certain periods of the year. Even though it was a daunting task, she embraced it with dignity and grace.
Before technology arrived to assist in the assignments, Marie reporteed to her office at 4:30 am to make the assignments for absent personnel.
Marie was loved and appreciated by her colleagues and Principals because of the tact, skill and dignity displayed.
I was honored to have the joy of being her supervisor for 17 years and only received compliments about her job performance.
