Marie (Etter) Peterson's Obituary
Marie Peterson was born May 3, 1919 in Tacoma, WA. She fell asleep in the quiet surroundings of her home and awoke to the horizon of a perfect endless day on July 14, 2014, at the amazing age of 95.
Marie was a hard working homemaker whose hands were rich with the passion for baking the best goodies and planting a plentiful garden to share. She was the heartbeat of her family and we are forever blessed by her legacy.
Marie was preceded in death by husband Alfred Peterson, parents Gottfried and Elise Etter, and sister Elizabeth.
Marie’s spirit carries on in daughter Ruth Williamson (Bob), step-daughter Gloria Pitkanen (Archie), grandchildren Paul Williamson (Jennifer) and Lori Williamson Burden, great grandchildren Andrew Burden, Preston and Tahlia Williamson, a sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
