She was a mother, wife and homemaker, who had attended Lincoln High School in Tacoma, WA, and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and crafts. Husband Verlo E. McDowell (deceased 1974). Surviving children: Gordon Wayne McDowell (wife Linda) of Tonasket, WA, Larry R McDowell of Airway Heights, WA, Louise Black (husband Lloyd, deceased) of Federal Way, WA, Charlene J. LaPrade (husband Denny), of Spokane, WA. Eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren. 2 deceased children: Harold McDowell (2 years) and stillborn daughter.
