Marie Catherine Strauss' Obituary
Marie C. Strauss, born in Pettibone, North Dakota on March 22, 1912, passed away on November 1, 2009. Marie taught in the rural schools in Pettibone for seven years. She was an active member in several churches over the years and was a member of United Church in University Place.
Survivors include daughter Muriel Clough; grandsons, Brien Clough and wife Shanon, Kevin Clough and wife Camille; great-granddaughter Gracie Clough; and great-grandsons Santana Clough and Dakoda and Sequoia Waddell; in-laws Ole and Lorraine Tokheim; nieces, a nephew, and many cousins. Preceding her in death were her husband Harold, son Eugene, son-in-law Danny Clough, a sister, Henriette Knoblich, former brother-in-law Gottlieb, brothers John and Leroy DeKrey, and sister-in-law Lou.
Graveside services will be held in Mountain View Memorial Park TODAY, Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 2:30 PM, with Rev. Ken Rhoe officiating. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252. Please sign online guestbook at www.mountainviewtacoma.com .
