I worked with Marie at Lakewood Pediatrics for many years. Her elegant presence in our office set the tone for excellance. Her wonderful sense of humor and her quiet, deep faith was admired by all. We so enjoyed stories about her children (and their children) and Dick. Marie, we will miss your caring and your positive attitude. We love you!##imported-begin##Jan Shaw##imported-end##
I had the honor of working for Marie at the original Lakewood Hospital in the early 80's. She was such an inspiration, a true lady with an incredible amount of care and compassion and always had time for everyone. To her family, please accept my heartfelt condolences. About five years ago our paths crossed, we had that special "lunch", reminisced, laughed and hugged hard the Marie way. May God continue to surround you with her love.##imported-begin##Kris Casady Carnahan##imported-end##
I just learned that my friend Marie passed away today. I worked with Marie at Lakewood Pediatrics for several years. She was a great co- worker who had a sense of humor, was compassionate and a great friend. When I was diagnosed with cancer nearly 3 years ago, Marie was one of my several supporters. She always called me at least once a month to see how I was doing, having dealt with cancer herself. The world has lost a great lady. She will be missed by all.##imported-begin##Margie Birch##imported-end##

I never knew a lady with a bigger heart than Marie. Marie worked for me at Lakwood General Hospital and this was a lady that knew how to WORK and laugh. She always had funny stories to tell about her children. I remember her waiting for one of them to pick her up from work in the RED CAR. Now that was a PRETTY car. We loved having lunch together and neither of us could talk fast enough to get all the news of our families in the time we had. We shared pictures each time. What a Joy she was. What a wonderful person. I will deeply miss her.##imported-begin##Jane Howser##imported-end##
She will be greatly missed. I remember the holidays, the smells from the kitchen, cookies and decorated trees and all those kids at her house (there was only me and Pete at ours) but at Uncle Dicks and Aunt Snooks, the house was always full and her heart was always open, I will miss her greatly. But I am sure that Grandpa and Grandma, Uncle Dick, all her sisters and her brothers where waiting with open arms when she "moved" to heaven, One more angel, one more star we have upstairs
Gods Blessings with you "kids", the lost of a parent is hard.
We will always keep you in our prayers.
Love
Monica, Paul and Michael
and Pete, and his two kids, Cammie & Jared##imported-begin##Paul & Monica Hampshire##imported-end##
