Marian Rose Ray's Obituary
Marian R. Ray Born Oct. 12, 1924, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, May 3, 2009. Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and a friend to anyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil, sister Wanda Hallock, and life-long friend Grace Ostrom. She was a fabulous mother, cook, and homemaker extraordinaire. Outside of home she was a mean pinochle player, loved God, church, dancing, and being with her friends. She is survived by son Howard Ray, Tacoma; daughters Marian Andrews, Mesa, AZ and Nellie Richardson, Tacoma; 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Viewing at Fircrest Presbyterian, 1250 Emerson St., Tacoma on May 8, 2009 from 10:30-12 p.m. with service at 12 p.m.
