Maria Borja Terlaje's Obituary
Maria Borja Terlaje, age 83, died 9 December 2014 at her home in Tacoma, Washington, after a long illness. She was born 15 September 1931, in the beautiful island of Guam, the daughter of Lorenzo Borja and Francesca Castro. She was a member of St. Ann and Our Lady Queen of Heaven parishes. She retired from the Government of Guam, School Food Service.
She is survived by her son, John Terlaje (Virginia), Daughters, Marie Quintanilla, Frances Perez, Anisia Terlaje (Guam), Teofila Charfauros, Jeanette Terlaje, Emily Ortega, LeeAnn Terlaje, and Julie Cruz (Guam); 24 Grandchildren, 44 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Reyes Terlaje, Brothers: Joaquin & Manuel Borja, Sisters: Catalina Aguon, and Francisca Reyes, and her daughter, Yvonne Terlaje.
She would be greatly missed by many friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 19 December 2014 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church starting at 0800-1000 am for viewing, Mass from 1000-1100 am, followed by interment at Mountain View Funeral home in Tacoma, Washington.
Refreshment/Lunch will be served at St. Ann’s Catholic Church
