Maria Isabel Ramos Gonzales' Obituary
Maria Isabel “Abe” Ramos Gonzales was born on November 19th, 1969 in Obando, Bulacan Philippines to Alfredo Santos Ramos and Resurreccion Reyes Dela Cruz. She lived there from her childhood through her young adulthood, creating precious memories with loved ones. While working at a hotel in Manila, she rose in ranks from a waitress to a ballroom dance instructor. There, she met her eventual husband, Edgar Pancho Gonzales. She then traveled to the United States with Edgar where they married in Reno, Nevada. Soon after, they gave birth to their first and only child, Jocelyn Ramos Gonzales. While raising Jocelyn, she began work at an adult family home while training to work as a certified nurses aide (CNA). She then worked as a CNA at St. Clare Hospital for over a decade. While not working or attending to her health, she enjoyed walking outdoors, trying new restaurants, watching Asian dramas, and travel. Most of all, she cherished quality time with friends and family.
Isabel is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, and her siblings Josephine “Josie,” Baltazar “Bhal,” and Cirilo “Ilo.” She is survived by her remaining siblings Armando “Boyay,” Normita, Feliza, Maria Elisa “Nene,” and Ramon, as well as her only daughter, Jocelyn. She will be dearly missed by all who experienced her loving soul and joyful smile.
