Marguerite L Culbertson's Obituary
Her friends called her Stoney. Her family called her Mom and Grandma. Everyone called her a great listener, and a gentle and loving woman.At the young age of 89, Marguerite passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2006. Born September 5, 1916, she spent most of her childhood years in Alberta, Canada. When she returned to the Seattle/Tacoma area, she entered nurses training at St. JosephÂ's Hospital, and graduated as an RN.Marguerite married her longtime sweetheart, Ron (better known as Tubby), and raised a daughter, Marilyn, who resides in Seattle, and a son Greg (Cubby) living in Tacoma. She is also survived by a granddaughter Shannon and two great-grandchildren, Rachel and Levi. She had a special space in her heart for long time friend, Verna Passmore, and extended family Todd and Jackie Axling.A special thank you to her wonderful neighbors, Dwight, Joanne, Lawrence and Alice Briske.Please help us celebrate her life at a graveside service at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 7, 2006 at Mountain View Memorial Park.She will be greatly missed by all.
