Marguerite Florence Hansen's Obituary
Marguerite was born August 6, 1907 in Bloomington, IL and passed away November 19, 2003 in Lacey, WA at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon; sons, Vernon Byrne and Sherman Byrne; her parents, Max and Mabel Klemm; brother, Max; and sister, Mary.She is survived by her sister, Jacqueline Klemm; her daughter, Maxine (Cecil) Braddock; son, Curtis Byrne; daughter, Marilyn (Daniel) Peck; son, Joseph Peck; and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.She was married more than once and with each husband had many new and different interests. She loved bowling at one time and was on 3 teams. She belonged to a Garden Club for over 35 years, of which, there are members still remaining. She was a member of the Waller Road Grange and also a member of the Eastern Star and of the CarpenterÂ's Auxiliary.During her lifetime she made many friends, not only by her involvement in the clubs but also while working at her first job, as a clerk in a drugstore, and being an electrician at the shipyards during WWII. She also met many friends as an owner of a service station with a motel, and then as an owner of an apartment complex.She loved to gamble and took many trips to Reno, Las Vegas, Illinois, Biloxi, Miss., and she also traveled to Europe and Hawaii.She was loved by many and will be well and long remembered.
