Margareta, a beloved resident of Stratford Heights Apts (University Place), passed peacefully into the Lord's loving arms. A proud American citizen, she received an award from Pierce County on July 3, 2003 for 50+ years of faithful voting. She was an excellent cook, and worked at Sherwood Inn for 20+ years. Preceded in death by husband George (SFC Army Ret.), 2 brothers and parents. Survived by brother, Herbert (Lore) Loffelmann, niece Alexandra (Hans) Rachner of Ingolstadt, Germany, and many friends. Graveside services on July 10, 2009 at 11:00 at Mt. View Memorial Park. A potluck Celebration of Life at Stratford Heights will follow. We will miss Margareta's laugh and her love of life.
