Margaret V. Wilford's Obituary
Margaret Virginia Wilford was born Mar 17th, 1937, in Tacoma Washington to Louie and Rose Torre. Margaret grew up in Fife, Washington where she graduated from Fife High School and attended Seattle University.
Margaret met Sterling (Stokey) Wilford and later married in 1957. The couple raised three children, Gregory, Jeffrey and Valerie. Margaret worked for Equifax for seven years. She and her husband Sterling also enjoyed renovating properties.
Margaret enjoyed preparing delicious meals to host holidays, birthdays, and special occasions for family and friends. Margaret was affectionately nicknamed Goose by her Grandchildren. Sher loved having her grandchildren over to stay for the weekend and during summer vacation. She looked forward to the annual trip in August to the Washington and Oregon Coasts with family, extended family, and friends.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sterling Wilford; and her son, Jeffery Wilford.
Margaret is survived by her brother, Louie Torre; son, Gregory Wilford, (Tiffany Perry), (Brandon Wilford); daughter, Valerie Willis; son-in-law, Sherman Willis; grandson, Brandon Willis; granddaughter, Brittni Willis; and a favorite great nice, Mitzi Steen. Margaret also leaves to cherish her memory, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Visitation for Margaret is scheduled for Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 12:00pm-5:00pm at Mountain View Funeral Home. A Funeral Service for Margaret is scheduled for Friday, May 19, 2023 in Mountain View Funeral Home's Garden Chapel at 11:00AM, followed by interment in Mountain View Memorial Park's New Masonic section, then a reception in the Willow room at our Celebration of Life Center.
