Margaret Irene Smith's Obituary
M. Irene Smith On Dec. 17, 2014, with family by her side, Irene passed from this life into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was 91 years old. She was a retired printer for the Clover Park School District. Irene liked gardening, reading, and bowling. In her younger years, growing up in Canada, she enjoyed ice skating. She was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church, and many years ago, Central Baptist. Preceded in death by parents George and Clara Tompkins, husband William, brothers Kermit and Donald, and sister Gladys. Survived by son Bill (Paulette), sister Dorothy, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. We wish to thank Franciscan Hospice for their help. Also, a very special thank you to the staff at Pioneer Place Memory Haven. During the past three years you became like family. We thank God for you, and all you did for Mom. A private family memorial is planned.Re
