Mr. John Patterson and Family,

The last time we met with Mrs. Patterson was at Robblee's annual gathering, and we were amazed and inspired by learning of her years of service, her hard work, and her dedication to the company. We will always remember her kindess and her smile.

Although I did not personally know Margaret, she is a cousin of mine. And as a person whose parents are still with us; they, too, are of advanced age and will be moving onward, one day. No matter the age, it is always a loss and shock when a parent leaves us. May her memory always be with you.

Margaret was a gift to the congregation at United Church in University Place. Her enthusiasm, unfailing good humor, joy in living, and her care for her fellow congregates was a wonderful blessings. Margaret added to our church life with her hospitality and acceptance of our wonderfully diverse congregation. We will miss her, but we know she's home with the Lord. I started work at Robblee's after Margaret had retired, but I soon learned a lot about her from all who had worked with her. The stories about her life with the company are never ending. Margaret and my mother, Ethel Bowman, were long time friends and were members of Plymouth Church on 45th Street and United Church in University Place. Margaret was always very gracious in driving mom to church and other social events. I can vividly remember Margaret and Jane visiting mom at Tacoma Lutheran Home and attending her funeral at United Church following Ethel's passing September 26, 2008. John was a student at Lincoln High School where I was a teacher/coach.

We knew Margaret from the Home Organ Society many years ago. It is now called The Old Town Music Society. We al had many good times together at all the many activities. She was a dear loving caring person. She was always there to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She will be missed by all who knew her.
