Margaret M. (Lindsay) SlopakMargaret M. Slopak passed away September 3, 2004 at the age of 85 from AlzheimerÂ's disease and complications from pneumonia. Margaret was born in Tacoma, WA on January 23, 1919 to Harry and Effie Lindsay. She was one of 5 children. She attended Gault Jr. High and Lincoln High School. After graduating, she went to work at the Blue Mouse Theater in Tacoma. Margaret married James (Vince) Slopak in August 1939. They had 2 sons James and Michael. In 1963, Vince and Margaret opened VinceÂ's Loans in Spanaway, which they worked together until they retired. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Vince; her son Michael; her mother and father Effie and Harry Lindsay; her sister Della and Neoma and brothers Harry and Sherman. She is survived by her son James and his wife Cheryl of Yelm and her grandson Christopher of Hot Springs, Arkansas. At her request, there will be a private graveside burial at Mt. View Memorial Park on Tuesday, September 7, 2004.
