Margaret (Marge) Fost's Obituary
Margaret (Marge) Leskajan Fost, age 77, died at Banner Baywood Hospital in Mesa, Arizona on Monday, February 15, 2016.
Born on August 19, 1938 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to George and Gunda Lindner, graduated from South Hills High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1956 and received an Associate Degree from Pierce College in Tacoma, Washington. On November 15, 1958 she married Vasile Leskajan. She was widowed in 1982 and later met and married Richard Fost.
Marge was a member of the Red Hat Society, an avid line dancer, knowledgeable Jeopardy watcher, enthusiastic card player and dedicated bocce ball player. She enjoyed being a Snow Bird and traveling with her husband, Richard. She will be especially remembered for her sense of humor, creativity, friendliness, competitiveness, spunkiness and spirit of adventure.
Survived by her husband, Richard Stanley Fost, her four children, George (Boni), Veronica, John (Mika), and Sue (Ron) as well as 4 stepchildren Donna, Diane, Tracy, Terrilea, 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and her lifelong friend Loretta Jones. Marge was preceded in death by her first husband, Vasile, parents, George and Gunda Lindner, brother, George Lindner and sister Ann Moore.
A memorial service will be held in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, Washington on Saturday February 27, 2016 at 11:30 am.
