During her three years at Puyallup High School, she played French Horn in the Band, and she was selected as a candidate for Puyallup High School’s Daffodil Court in 1951.
Margaret married Donald Eugene Jacobsen on April 2, 1955, and they were married over 68 years!

After Susan and Sally were in school, she worked for Carlson Brothers Jewelry in Tacoma and then went to work for Mist’er Rain Sprinkler and Irrigation Company as a Bookkeeper.
Margaret loved her family. Her “Pride and Joy” was her Grandson Jared, who she doted on every chance she got! & She was always so proud of her granddaughter Erica and the joy that she would bring.
She loved her yard and her flowers, especially her Geraniums. She was very proud of the Daffodils that would come up every Spring on both sides of the driveway. When the Daffodils were done expressing themselves, she would plant red and white stripe Petunias to fill the void along the driveway for the summer months.

She is survived by her loving husband Donald, daughters Susan (Greg), and Sally.
