Margaret G. Waggoner4/24/12 to 9/13/04Margaret Gray Waggoner, a 46-year resident of Pacific, went home to be with her Lord on September 13, 2004. Margaret was 92 years old at the time of her death. She was born in Takoma Park, MD to parents: Lucian Ailor Gray, Sr. & Mary Katherine Morrissey Gray. She lived 2 years in Washington, D.C., and then went to live at Nespelem, Washington on the Indian Reservation where her father was employed. She attended grade school, up to her sophomore year then she spent 1 year of college in Spokane, Washington at Holy Name Academy. She graduated from Cheney Normal School. She spent 30 years teaching in places such as: Nespelem, Grand Coulee Dam, Winthrop, Tonaskut & Auburn, Washington. She married Claud Elmer Waggoner in 1940. They had 5 children: 1 son, Randy Waggoner of Federal Way; 4 daughters, Claudia (Pixie) Julian of Auburn, Margaret (BeeBoo) Walker of Pacific, Jean (Tizzy) Selden of Auburn, & Barbara (Dolly) Panida of Auburn; 27 grandchildren & numerous great-grandchildren. Margaret dearly loved animals. She has loved & served the Lord all of her life. Claud went home to Jesus on his 85th birthday, August 20, 1994. Margaret had 2 older brothers & 1 older sister; 3 younger sisters & 1 younger brother. Only 2 younger sisters are living.A memorial service will be held on September 18, 2004 at 2PM in the Celebration of Life Center at Mt. View in Tacoma. Remembrances may be made to Pacific Senior Center or World Challenge, Inc.Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252.
