Betty was a Christian guiding light to me. Good advice, humor and care for others. She knew how to bring people together to get work done for the Lord. I do remember she liked corned beef cabbage dinners.

Betty was a wonderful, cheerful, enthusiastic part of life for me and my late wife, Priscilla. Her small group leadership helped our spiritual growth tremendously. One of my favorite memories: I was visiting Grandma and Grandpa one summer and has decided to go running at the park at Fort Steilacoom. I had headphones in and noticed a car following me out of the corner of my eye. I was a bit concerned as I ran faster and it continued to follow me. I mustered up the courage to look behind me and prepared for the unknown... There was Grandma. She had tracked me down only to roll down the window as ask, "Do you want to pick blackberries with me?"
She always took time to enjoy the small things, spend time with those she loved, and always always enjoyed a treat. I love you Gram!
