Margaret Ann Skinner's Obituary
Margaret Skinner was born in Los Angeles, CA August 27, 1929 and passed away in Tacoma, WA June 2, 2008. Margaret retired in April 1985 from Hygrades, where she was a meat packer. After her retirement she worked for 16 years at the Puyallup Fair. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Elizabeth Warne, 1st husband Mike Abney, son Robert Abney and the love of her life, Marvin Skinner. She is survived by Wally (Annette), 2 grandsons Steven and Brandon (Sara) and 1 great granddaughter, Aida and many dear friends. Margaret and Marv loved to entertain family and friends at their home when they weren't off traveling, camping or fishing. We want to extend a special Othank you' to the staff at the Weatherly Inn and Home Away From Home for the excellent care she received. Memorial service will be held June 6, 2008 at 1:00pm in the Garden Chapel at Mt. View Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Western Washington, 12721 - 30th Ave. N.E., Suite 101, Seattle, WA 98125.
