Marcia Kay Stump's Obituary
Marcia Kay Stump, born February 20, 1949 in Tacoma, Washington, passed away on January 23, 2025 with her children by her side. Marcia was a woman of faith and her faith made her the strong and beautiful person that she was. Marcia lived a beautiful life with her husband of 50 years William Stump, and their four beautiful children; Timothy Stump, Danielle Bond, Billy Stump, and Stephen Stump. Marcia enjoyed being a stay at home mom to her children while her husband Bill served in the army.
She was even more thrilled to become a grandmother six times over. She was a perfect Meme to her grandkids; Destini-Rae Bond, Devin Bond, Hallie Stump, A.J. Stump, Ashlyn Stump and Aiden Stump. Marcia and her husband lived all over the world while Bill served in the army, but settled down in St. James, Missouri, where Marcia lost Bill in 2021 to covid. Marcia, her son Tim, and daughter-in-law Melissa moved back to Washington and settled in Bremerton in June 2024.
Marcia will be missed by everyone she impacted during her life. She was a beloved mother, wife, meme, and friend. Per her wishes, there will not be a formal service for Marcia, but we ask you to wear something purple, Marcia’s favorite color, in memory of her.
